Job Description As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer's experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the driveline to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality.

Essential Duties

* Ensure the customer receives excellent customer service and service repairs. Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.
* Coordinates with Service Technicians and Service Manager to ensure the repair is properly done during the first visit and is completed on time.
* Provides accurate advice to customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures and prepare work order for needed repairs.
* Prepare, schedule and track repairs orders with labor rates and hours in mind to ensure best possible costs efficiencies
* Writes a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem.
* Explains the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
* Ensure the customer concerns and complaints are addressed in a prompt and effective manner, with a genuine sense of interest and in accordance with the Service Department and dealership guidelines.
* Establishes excellent relationships with customers to encourage customer satisfaction and customer retention.
* Advises customer on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
* Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
* Checks on the progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
* Provides exceptional customer satisfaction standards and follow up with customers to confirm customer satisfaction.
* Provide accurate tracking of expenses and revenue for the Service Department
* Maintain knowledge of industry and product innovations that bring value to our customers.

Requirements/ Experience

* Minimum of two years of Service Advisor experience at an auto dealership or repair shop.
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Ability to explain complex automotive repairs to customers in a manner that makes sense.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Superior time management skills.
* Ability to work well with Service Technicians.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid Driver's License
* Clean driving record
* Maintain a professional appearance.
* Regular Attendance
* Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Physical Demands:

* Ability to continuously stand or walk.
* Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
