Normal hours are 7:00am 3:30 pm (there will be some mandatory overtime so our ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule as required for business reasons)

Position requirements:

* Background in gasoline and diesel engine repair

* Small Engine Repair

* Welding & Fabricating

* Heavy equipment repair

* Snow Plowing experience

* Ability to support, organize and maintain clean shop

* Basic computer skills

* High school Diploma or equivalent. Minimum (3) years experience in the field of automotive / truck or bus repair

* Reliable / Motivated / Strong work ethic

* Skills to sufficiently diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicles

* Overtime as required

Primary responsibilities:

* Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles

* Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles

* Completes required paperwork about repair orders and parts usage

* Make road calls

* Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions

* Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

* Must hold a CT drivers license

* Must hold or be eligible to possess a CDL license

* Must hold or be willing to work toward ASE certifications

* Must possess adequate verbal and written communication skills in English

* Must possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks
