We are based in Greenwich, CT and we are looking for people who share our drive to achieve excellence in everything we do. In this role you will support the Director of Data Acquisition and Analytics in the following areas:

* Lead Master Data Management of the Products, Companies and Industry used by the RiskMatch platform.

* With an understanding of the insurance market place, and Agency and Policy Management Systems, work with external internal Vertafore teams, external vendors and broker clients on creation and maintenance of standardized/normalized product and company master list.

* Lead a team of Reference Data Analysts to

* Maintain Product Master (Canonical Product List) e.g. research new production creation, merge existing or delete products no longer in use

* Maintain Company Master e.g. research carrier and their family tree relationship and create the appropriate mapping in RiskMatch

* Manage standardization of reference data (company, product, industry) of AMS systems from Vertafore's Data Lake using Machine Learning and RM developed heuristics

* Development of technical best practices for data mapping, data transformations, data quality, data cleansing, ETL and other data movement activities relating to the management of master data.

* Manage evolution of database design used for RM data analytics.

* Develop and document technical specification for the flow of data from our brokers' disparate data formats and external data into the RiskMatch Database, including the ODS and the Data Warehouse

* Interface and collaborate with development team to discuss issues, results and develop targeted solutions and improvements

* Able to evolve as company evolves

Skills/Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry

* 10+ years of experience in leading and defining the Extract, Transform, Load process from disparate sources

* Sound understanding of SQL relational structures, NoSQL databases, data modeling, data warehousing, software development skills and reporting techniques.

* Good knowledge and hands on experience working with data in multiple formats such as XML, CSV, Flat files and MYSQL.

* Hands-on experience with java/groovy is a plus.

* Experience with git and AWS is a plus.
