Job Description

Sumner Communications is seeking a dynamic and aggressive Account Executive Inside Sales Representative to join our print and internet sales teams. The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new sales leads for one of our wide array of advertising platforms. The successful candidate will be charged with developing and managing a sales pipeline mix of both high value and transactional accounts while executing sales strategies to secure deals that will exceed aggressive account acquisition and output goals. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers of prospective accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross- functional teams to create and present compelling Sumner Communications advertising solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.

Able to function in a fast paced environment with heavy focus on fostering, developing, servicing, and nurturing relationships with customers.
Demonstrate persistence, tenacity, ability to overcome obstacles, and strive to improve skills and achieve goals.
Identify, qualify, and engage with prospect to grow Sumner Communications Marketplace.
Maintains the established standards for the minimum number of contacts and talk time per day.
Present key selling points/features and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations.
Analyze customer data and make recommendations in order to maximize the potential of the assigned territory. Execute successfully on the plan recommended.
Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your territory. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
Prospect and close business to achieve quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of sellers recruited.
Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.


5+ years of successful sales experience.
?? Extensive experience in cold calling, prospecting and qualifying companies.
?? Can demonstrate proven creative lead generation methods
?? Superior communication and presentation skills
?? High energy and drive.
?? Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach,
?? Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel
?? BA/BS or equivalent experience
?? Creative, has initiative, and can sell
