The successful candidate will be involved in basic research studies designed to identify novel targets as well as pharmacological studies in the fields of metabolic diseases. The individual should be highly self-motivated, well organized, possess strong technical skills and able to work productively in the collaborative environment.

* Perform various in vivo experiments using mice that involves iv, ip, sc injections, and collection of blood and tissue samples.
* Perform in vitro assays to measure metabolic parameters of mice
* Collect and process ex vivo tissue samples for biochemical and molecular biological analyses

  • Education: BS/MS Required
  • Experience in metabolism research using rodents
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (RNA and protein analysis)
  • In Vivo and In Vitro experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years of research experience
  • This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment
