Position Title: Loan Servicing Administrator (Temp)

Reports to: Director Bank Operations

Job Description: The Loan Servicing Administrator role will provide direct support to the Director Bank Operations, Loan Servicing, Loan Administration, Credit Administration and Advisors. This is an approximately four to five month assignment starting in mid to late August.

Essential Duties:


•Review and send monthly loan statements.

•Book new loans, renewals, extensions, rate modifications and construction conversions to permanent financing in the core banking system; Jack Henry.

•Generate loan payoff statement, assist with lien release processing and tracking.

•Review booked loans for accuracy and assist with internal/external audit requests.

•Fund new loans, process wires and prepare certified checks.

Legal Document Preparation

•Prepare new loan, renewal and modification legal documents for consumer and commercial loans in LaserPro.

Account Reconciliation

•Monthly reconciliation of the following general ledger and deposit accounts: Loan Settlement, Loans Unposted, Purchased Loan Balances, Commitment Fees Received, Escrow Holdbacks, Escrow Checks Payable and FASB fees/costs. Flood Compliance & Insurance Policy Renewal Tracking

•Monitor all loans with collateral property in a flood zone to ensure proper coverage is in place and there are no gaps in coverage. Adhere to all regulations requiring written notice to borrowers with expiring flood coverage.

Loan File Inventory Tracking

•Maintain an Inventory Tracking sheet listing the Iron Mountain box number, location and loan number for each file.

•Responsible for placing loan file recall orders, as needed, for internal/external audit reviews.

Portfolio Reporting

•Assist with preparation of Board Loan Committee reports.

•Generate and distribute weekly automatic loan payment failures/deficiencies, past due loans and maturing loans reports to Advisors and Associates.

Collateral Tracking

•Update Jack Henry core banking system upon receipt of compliance certificates to clear financial reporting covenant requirements, recorded mortgages, and renewed insurance policies.

•Set up newly originated loans with the proper covenants and tracking items for portfolio management.

Knowledge / Skills:

•Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 2-4 years related experience.

•Prior bank operations or teller experience required.

•Basic knowledge of loan underwriting terminology.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong intellect, intellectual curiosity and motivated.

•Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint skills.

•Ability to work independently and under critical time constraints.
