Essential Job Functions:

  1. Manage retail store location within the agency's established policy to achieve budgeted revenue and expense.

  2. Recruit, train and evaluate retail employees in retail operation procedures.

  3. Schedule employees to achieve optimum customer service, merchandise display, store security and expense control.

  4. Plan attractive merchandise displays that make effective use of sales area.

  5. Maintain records of sales data and bank deposits.

  6. Enforce sales policies and procedures and employee policies and procedures.

  7. Maintain store premises and grounds in compliance with agency safety and housekeeping practices.

  8. Supervise and train employees in backroom processing and quality control procedures.

  9. Order merchandise to stock store to achieve budget.

  10. Participate in community business activities such as merchant associations or local Chamber of Commerce meetings when directed.

  11. Attend marketing sales meetings. Schedule store employee meetings as necessary.

  12. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent with courses in Business and Marketing.

  2. Two years experience in a management/supervisory capacity or equivalent.

  3. Able to supervise and train in shipping/receiving functions, stock duties, merchandising, cashiering and customer service retail.

  4. Willing to travel and relocate.

Working Conditions:

  1. Works in retail selling area, stockroom, processing area and adjacent parking area.

  2. Considerable walking, standing, reaching, lifting, carrying, talking, hearing, seeing, bending, pushing and pulling.

  3. Exposure to inclement weather.

  4. Work with others.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend and reach.

  2. Must be able to lift over 40 pounds.
