Title - Electro Mechanic hold

Salary Range - $23.67 - $29.93 hourly

Minimum Education - High School

Locations -Milford, CT

Working under the Electrical Engineer, Electro-Mechanics will provide mechanical and electrical support to high-speed, automated production machines and may also be required to operate machines to cover breaks and/or lunches of machine operators.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks

Troubleshooting / maintaining / repairing electro-mechanical systems.

Set-up, operate, maintain and repair automated production machines and equipment.

Implement continuous improvement modifications as required.

Overtime and weekend work, a must.

Job Requirements

Must be shift flexible

Must be able to pass the Standard Timing Model mechanical aptitude test.

Must be able to pass the Electrical Skills Assessment test.

Must be able to work effectively in an environment where priorities and assigned tasks change quickly

Must be able to work effectively with little direct supervision

Must be able and willing to make decisions

Must show a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Must be able to work effectively inside and outside department in order to solve problems and pursue continuous improvement opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience

Vocational or Electrical Technical School graduate or trade / military equivalent.

5+ years of electro-mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Advanced mechanical skills.

Experience with high-speed, automated production machines.

Ability to read and understand schematics and PLC programs.

Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.).

Experience working with Electrical hand tools, and test equipment, such as multi-meters, amp meters, etc.
