We are expanding rapidly and need a Senior Network IT Technician who will help manage and build IT infrastructures for our clients. In addition our benefit packages includes health insurance, SIMPLE IRA plan, and more. This role requires someone who is outgoing, has excellent communication skills, enjoys working with a successful team, has the ability to multitask, and thrives working in a fast paced environment. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a confident presence, adept logical troubleshooting, testing experience, task management skills, and root cause analysis abilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applicationsSupport virtual environments built on Microsoft's Hyper-V and Citrix XenServer.Design, implementation, and support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.Engineer and implement system solutions for clients using technologies that meet their needs- Implement and support disaster recovery solutionsTechnical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and securityRemote access solution implementation and support using VPN and Terminal ServicesSystem documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendationsCommunicate with clients and keep them informed of your progress. Notifying them of changes or agreed outages Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to work in a team and communicate effectivelyBusiness awareness: specific knowledge of the client and how IT relates to their business strategy and goalsDocument internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilitiesResponsible for entering time and expenses in Connectwise (Our management system) as it occursUnderstand processes in Connectwise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the Connectwise UniversityWork through project tickets and phases in Connectwise as assigned by our Service Delivery ManagerEnter all work as service or project tickets into ConnectwiseReview IT publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry Knowledge,Skills, and/or Abilities Required:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
