**External Job Description** **Overview:**

This role will be responsible for providing and leading the day-to-day communication to the filed. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across multiple functions developing new tools and ways of communication to internal as well as external marketing personal. You will need to be innovative and familiarize yourself with the latest technology and consumer trends, in order to develop the best communication channels in the industry.


Partner with GDBS, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, external agency partners & Sales to develop easy to use/ access tools that allow sales and marketing personnel to access the latest and greatest programing tools. Manages multiple projects with internal teams and agency partners to ensure objectives and deadlines are met. Helps build new & efficient tools for the customer marketing organization including new digital platforms, videos, and new and innovative ways of communicate.

**Complexity of Role:**

+ Must be able to multitask different projects and timelines, and have strong initiative to find productivity in day to day tasks

+ Commercial: Understanding of both retailer and distributor/wholesaler needs. In addition, broad understanding of marketplace dynamics, including chain, Franchise and Control.

+ Curious & engaged with contemporary communication tools/platforms including social media, messaging applications and social selling techniques

+ Strong understanding of the organization and ability to work cross functionally to ensure the right people are involved

+ Advance knowledge/ understanding of CRM applications & contemporary communication platforms

**Key Outputs:**

+ Manage, maintain Diageo Direct & collaborate on its updates/restage & evolution as our one-stop-shop platform for field/market communications

+ Manage & develop the weekly Customer Marketing communication & Bi Weekly Marketing Direct Call Agenda

+ Support the Customer Marketing Services Manager in developing the monthly digital newsletter

+ Maintain and continue to evolve the Customer Marketing Communications Agenda

+ Partner with Customer Marketing Service manager to develop and deploy best in class new CRM communications platform

+ Bring enthusiastic and innovative ideas on how latest consumer trends can be leveraged for the field to easily access the right programing content for their day to day sales activity


+ BS in Business discipline

+ Experience in developing or using CRM/Communications platforms

+ Sales field experience a plus but not essential

+ Awareness of and understanding of the three tier beverage alcohol model

+ Proven ability to handle multiple projects with strong task management skills

+ Strong influencing skills and ability to work effortlessly with cross functional groups

+ Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce & Photoshop

+ Demonstrated interpersonal and team skills
