Clinician Network Manager, Clinical Trials Position Overview: The Manager of the Clinician Network will be a qualified psychologist or neuropsychologist who will oversee operational activities pertaining to recruiting, training, and managing a network of global CNS consultants known as Local Expert Advisors (LEADs). The Manager of the Clinician Network will work closely with Rater Training Operations and Scientific teams to manage the LEADs training platform, curriculum, and certification process. The LEADs perform essential activities for Company that contribute to the overall success of a clinical trial. Primary responsibilities of the LEADs range from administering psychological assessments to patients, ensuring proper administration of a clinical assessment from raters to patients, and reviewing clinical in-study visit data. The Clinician Network Manager is responsible for training and oversight of the group with a focus on ensuring consistency, a high level of administration technique, and process documentation. Essential Job Functions: Training • Creation and management of LEADs training content • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with Clin Ops to establish core curriculum and training materials for LEADs o Develop clinical content (e.g., qualification methodologies, didactic presentations) for training and qualification o Ensure all training/certification documentation for LEADs is up-to-date • Train site raters and Principal Investigators by reviewing site administered assessments and providing detailed feedback on quality of administration and accuracy of scoring • Oversee Central Monitoring Activities such as remediation and adjudication for clinical trial raters/sites Organizational • Successfully collaborate with Rater Training Managers and Project Managers to meet study deliverables, understanding what information needs to be communicated • Direct work for LEADs and manage level of quality across and within programs; provide feedback to supervisors/managers on performance • Maintain proper controls to ensure timely delivery of project tasks and materials, and regularly report status to Rater Training Manager and/or Project Manager. • Effectively manage, track, and proactively communicate key project deliverables to Rater Training Manager and/or Project Manager • Oversee process improvement initiatives such as tracking and processing of LEAD invoices Recruiting • Spearhead recruiting efforts for a global deep bench of qualified LEADs for o Identify and mentor current LEADs who can then act as study contacts for project CRAs o Accountable for maintaining Company's LEAD psychologist's/ neuropsychologist's documentation including reviewer certification, central test and data monitoring reviews, rater training certification materials, and CV's o Identify and standardize rates associated with clinical trial services Requirements:Tertiary qualifications or post-graduate degree in the area of cognitive neurology and/or psychology, with at least 4 years of practical experienceExperience in interacting and providing constructive feedback to clinical scientists, neuropsychologists and/or medical professionals at a high levelAn understanding of the science of measuring cognition and behavior, including an understanding of traditional neuropsychological/psychological assessment toolsExperience managing scientific projects and directing staffDemonstrated strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing prioritiesComfortable working in new platformsUnderstanding of clinical trials, regulatory, and legal processesAbility to read/review clinical protocols Other Skills/Abilities:People skills: within the team, and with customers and third party providers, strong desire to learn, to seek feedback on performance and to learn quickly.Communication skills: both written and oral, conflict resolutionWork skills: eye for detail, problem-solving, product development, ability to work in a fast paced environment, compliance to proceduresGood organizational skills: handling multiple tasks, establishing and managing competing priorities, ability to work independently and to be proactive
