Job Description:

Nurse Practitioner needed with an interest in Geriatric Internal Medicine, Geriatric Primary Care, Nursing Home Medical Long Term Care, Assisted Living Medicine, or other related specialties. Location depending on demographic need at the time. Unlimited earning potential, Flexible schedule, Call Monday 7 am through Saturday 7am, Autonomous practice setting, Create your own practice within our organization. Collaborating agreements with physician within the practice. The Nurse Practitioner will manage primary and secondary care conditions, and evaluate tertiary care conditions. Primary care conditions are defined as common acute, chronic stable, or health care maintenance conditions; secondary care conditions are unfamiliar, uncommon, unstable, or complex conditions; and tertiary care conditions are acute, life-threatening conditions such as respiratory and cardiac arrest. Requirements: The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a registered nurse prepared at the master's or doctorate level as a Nurse Practitioner. Certified Nationally as a Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC . The Nurse Practitioner must have possession of a valid (Connecticut) license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and be certified as a y) Nurse Practitioner by an approved certifying body.
