Responsibilities: ?? Assess the value of all current Marlin content ?? Redefine the direction any/all new content should take ?? Conduct customer surveys ?? Review competitive content offerings ?? Assess the buyer and viewing audience ?? Incorporate current media trends and ways to engage viewers ?? Manage the content team to create and deliver all engaging content ?? Work in conjunction with Product Manager to define professional services ?? Collaborate with Software Development to deliver new types of services ?? Introduce new concepts, ideas & digital strategies for content ?? Define a strategy for content transitions and presenting plans for execution of transitions ?? Report directly to CEO Qualifications: ?? Four year college/university degree, ideally in Digital Media, Visual Communications, Digital Journalism or similar ?? 5+ years of experience in Digital Content, Media, Editing, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or similar ?? 5+ years of management/supervisory experience leading and motivating a creative team ?? Prior experience in Art Direction in a digital environment ?? Knowledge of social media and emerging media trends ?? Strong organizational skills ?? Process-driven with the ability to define & manage processes ?? Understanding of the creative process, time & resources to move projects from concept to completion ?? Ability to gather, synthesize & interpret market data ?? Proven strategic planning skills
