Position Overview

Are you a highly strategic and driven Recruiter who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment? A Master of Persuasion who is able to connect and build relationships while keeping up-to-date on industry trends? We are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done to join our talent team!

As a Contract Recruiter, you will recruit and select candidates for consideration to work at our many facilities throughout the country, working closely with key stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and implement a recruiting strategy to acquire world class, top talent. You will model C&S's core values and mission to all candidates through your words and actions, maintain a quality candidate sourcing pipeline for key positions and proactive growth, and make recommendations based on the needs of our hiring managers.


* Recruit exempt and non-exempt hires for multiple levels and functions across the organization

* Source and thoroughly evaluate candidates; check personal qualifications against job requirements

* Develop relationships with hiring managers to establish recruitment profiles

* Qualify candidates through behavioral interview techniques, skills assessments, and background checks

* Provide an aggressive hiring plan; build confidence and credibility with hiring managers; present candidate synopsis and recommendations to hiring managers.

* Coordinate on-site interviews; conduct, analyze, and discuss reference checks with hiring managers.

* Negotiate compensation and benefits; finalize offers to candidates; coordinate on-boarding

* Use and maintain applicant tracking system; EEO compliance tracking.

* Special projects when necessary.

* Interview training and consulting.


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience

* 5-8 years of recruiting experience, with measurable results showing quality hires and candidate/manager relationship development

* Consumer Product Goods (CPG) or Wholesale Distribution Industry experience preferred, but not required

* Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with a "can do" attitude and desire to excel; strong presentation skills

* Strong organizational & analytical skills, and problem solving ability

* Sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration is key

* Ability to prioritize when presented with multiple 'top priority' situations

* Ability to represent the company as an employer of choice; to extend the brand in the marketplace and to share the culture and opportunity in everything you do

* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications

* Familiarity with iCIMS applicant tracking system a plus
