Inside Sales Associate

Summary: The inside sales associate manages all the inside support functions for our distributors and customers. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting customers with product selection, order processing, quotations, availability, expediting, enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports. Maintain and execute customer order backlog for assigned territories / accounts. This position acts as liaison between our customers and the factory in expediting orders; processes and makes adjustments to database for returned goods by entering orders, credits, etc; expedites emergency orders as needed, and maintains knowledge of company products and service processes. The candidate works as a team with the business development manager to train accounts on our products and processes.

Essential Functions:

* Receive calls from customer's representatives seeking 'Pump and accessory support

* Works with Applications Engineers to provide efficient support for the full range of products

* Interface with distributors and representatives to co-ordinate shipments to customers

* Liaise with accounting and customers to ensure prompt payment of our invoices

* Various levels of product research

* Prepare and print shop orders, pick slips and Drop ship paperwork to Invoice customers

* Coordinate with warehouse and assembly, shipping to insure on time delivery of orders to the customer

* Prepare internal reports as required

* Safety obligations:

* All employees understand and are able to explain the structure and objectives of the SBP.

* All employees follow the safety rules.

* All employees have "the right and duty to intervene" in the event a safety concern becomes evident. In addition, acceptance of an intervention should be accepted in a positive manner as it could have prevented an accident.

All employees are required to comply with all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to proper use of required PPE at all times.

* Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Internet

* SAP experience preferred.

* Bachelor of Science degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

* Lifting up to 25 pounds

* Typing.
