Summit Retail Solutions, Inc is seeking a Customer Service Associate to serve as a liaison between companies and end consumers. The Customer Service Associate will work in reputable public establishments and market products or services to consumers directly. The Customer Service Associate will personally connect the customer to the product or service, provide exceptional service, and educate all customers on a particular service (e.g., window installation, cable services) to generate leads and sales.

This position requires an employee to have superior knowledge of the product or service being represented as well as being properly prepared to react to any questions or concerns from customers. A Customer Service Associate must possess superior communication skills, a strong desire to excel, and a positive attitude.

Candidates with experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and promotions are strongly encouraged to apply. Although this is an entry level position, the company has implemented a detailed process to identify motivated and qualified employees to promote into management positions in as little as 12 months. We pride ourselves on internal promotion.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Attract and engage potential customers by providing excellent product or service knowledge.

* Suggest information about other products and services through presentation of features and benefits.

* Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information timely and accurately.

* Recommend potential products or services to customers by analyzing customer needs and wants.

* Prepare product or service paperwork and reports by collecting and analyzing customer data.

* Inform customers of company information, deals, and promotions.

* Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.

* Accept personal information to record for vendor while retaining confidentiality at all times.

* Manage promotional material such as inventory, marketing supplies, and displays.


* High School Diploma or equivalent required (College degree preferred).

* Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to document records accurately and consistently.

* Professional and outgoing personality with the strong desire to learn and excel in the field.

* Demonstrate and strengthen leadership and supervisory skills.

* Demonstrate and strengthen customer service, marketing and selling skills.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities effectively.

* Ability to stand for long periods of time.

* Flexible availability during retail hours (40 hour workweek).

* Reliable transportation to travel within 45 miles of your home location.
