* This is a temporary position*

The Sales Administrative Assistant assists New Business Analysts in the workflow of case submission.

* Monitors receipt of new and renewing cases

* Renewal distribution

* Handles logging all cases in/out of internal systems; including, but not limited to AMS and Sales Force

* Notifies broker of receipt of business

* Confirms Agent/Agency appointments on new cases

* Sends out any necessary appointments to Agent/Agency and follows up through competition

* Builds group shell in AMS

* Barcodes account paperwork for imaging and images

* Reconciles and packages daily case submission to carrier

* Assigned misc. projects

* Facilitates indexing and imaging of cases into document imaging system

* Other duties as assigned

* Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Required Skills

* Knowledge of Agency Mngt Sys or Sales Force.

* Knowledge of the Internet.

* Good understanding of group insurance and carrier procedures.

* Knowledge of insurance sales submission requirements.

* Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.

* Read, comprehend, and interpret job-related documents.

* Strong attention to detail

* Good organizational and follow up skills

* Type a minimum of 30 words per minute.

* Develop and maintain good relationships at all levels within the company and with agents, brokers, and/or carrier representatives.

* Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.

* Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required Experience

* A minimum of 2 years related administrative experience.

* Experience with MS Office products.
