You're coachable, ready to work hard and willing to learn the skills to support and grow with Toolfetch.About The Job:As a Purchasing Agent you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.401k options.2 weeks vacation.Free admission into our perk platform that gives discounts from preferred pricing and gym memberships to childcare services. Here's what you'll do:Develop profitable purchasing strategies.Email and Fax purchase orders to vendors.Mitigate fraudulent orders from customers.Keep supplier profiles up to date and analyze offers.Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics for pricing with vendors.Keep shipping costs inline with UPS and Freight Shipments.Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery.Review supplies to ensure quality.Monitor stock levels for drop shipments and stock equipment.Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, buying expenditures etc.)Keep updated records.Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to keep abreast of the market's trends in the tool industry. Must-haves:?? **Good computer skills is a must**, must be able to multi-task on a pc otherwise this position is not for you.Proven working experience as a purchasing agent.Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.Interest in market dynamics along with business sense.A knack for negotiation and networking.Working experience of vendor management software.Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures.Solid judgement along with decision making skills.Strong leadership capabilities. Nice-to-haves:?? Experience in the Industrial Tool Industry or e-commerce space not a requirement but desired.Training:We're here to train our customer service reps, and to make them apart of the team and family. Most TF employees start as regular customer service reps to learn the biz from the ground up for the first 2 weeks.
