As an enterprise Account Executive for Microsoft, you will jointly lead an account team for one of Microsoft's largest enterprise accounts in the NY area.   Your primary responsibilities will include revenue attainment and growth for Microsoft products and services, customer satisfaction, partner integration, strategic competitive wins, and delivering industry solutions for your clientele. You are expected to build trusted advisor relationships with key Business (i.e. CxO and VP) and Technical (i.e. CIO, CTO, and Architect) Decision Makers to influence their use of Microsoft Products to create their business solutions.   You will act as the overall orchestrator of key specialty and corporate resources (Product Technical Specialists, Solution Specialist, Industry, Microsoft Consulting Services, Premier, Business Groups, Marketing, Partners. Etc.) to define the sales strategy in your assigned customer base.

In addition, you will be responsible to define and execute Microsoft's long-term strategy for the account and evangelize Microsoft's vision, products, technologies, and solutions to meet strategic initiatives and revenue goals; assist customers to increase their operational efficiency; and help to secure the platform and enable customer satisfaction through relationship development and optimal use of Microsoft technologies.   At least 10 years of technology sales experience is advantageous for this position.  

Additionally, knowledge of a wide range of solution and partner offerings, the ability to call on senior business executives across the defined Business Units, and a proven track record of successfully managing and closing complex sales in a diverse set of enterprise accounts is required.  

The successful candidate will also possess strong organizational, executive communication, project management, negotiation and problem solving skills. He/she must display a strong understanding of enterprise corporate sales needs and the application of the Microsoft capabilities and sales processes.  

Required Sales Competencies are:   At least 10 years of enterprise software sales experience Value Selling Team Leadership Strategic Sales Planning Strong drive to win   All the above should be evidenced by examples such as customer proposals, relationships and account plans to demonstrate level of competency.
