CALLING ALL ADVERTISING AND MEDIA SALES PROFESSIONALS: What could be better then working local on the beautiful CT shoreline! Territory to include Old Saybrook, Clinton, Madison, Guilford, Branford, Valpak, America's leader in providing cooperative direct mail and internet solutions to local businesses is looking to add a dynamic salesperson to our team. Call on local businesses in your protected territory in the Greater New Haven and coastal CT region. This flexible work from home opportunity offers excellent earnings potential, flexibility, convenience, base salary plus commissions and bonus opportunities along with excellent training. The key to your success will lie in building long term, repeat relationships with our clients. Compensation: $2,000 per month (salary & expenses) plus commissions and bonus opportunities. A solid first year performance will = $40K to $60K or more. The ideal candidate would possess:Advertising, media or business to business sales background but sales backround is not a requirementLive in or very close to the above mentioned areaBS/BA or Associates degreeHistory of being able to close long-term contracts and maintaining business relationships.Strong verbal/written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to excel at cold calling and prospecting making outside in person and telemarketing sales calls.Ability to deliver in person and on phone sales presentions.Experience with Excel, Powerpoint a plus.Highly organized attitude, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment.Must have dependable vehicle, smartphone, laptop and home office setup. Essential job duties and responsibilities may include:Identifying, researching, calling on, presenting to, closing and servicing your local business community.Connecting local businesses in your area directly with consumers who live in the area.Identifying and working with key decision makers to understand their initiatives in developing integrated marketing solutions.Creating and delivering powerful and persuasive presentations to key decision makers.Developing strong Client Relationships leading to renewals.Creating and managing Prospect/Client database and create and manage Sales/Revenue.Adhering to and exceed pricing/profitability guidelines as established by management.
