Job Description:

The Double Tree by Hilton Hartford/Bradley Int'l airport, is seeking a highly motivated empowered Sales Manager who's passion is to meet new clients and build strong relationships.Basic Functions: Responsible for creating revenue through direct Leisure sales, and catering sales efforts to achieve or exceed budgeted expectations. The ideal candidate will be maintaining existing accounts, prospecting new accounts, and handling customer inquiries. Must have good skills in social and leisure catering menus along with banquet rooms setup. The sales and catering manager must be fluent in the usage of sales and catering computers such as Delphi and Sales Pro.Essential Duties: - Fluent in Written and Verbal English. Excellent communication skills through comprehensive articulation.- Maintains contacts with all existing accounts in each market segment.- Continually qualifies existing accounts and prospects for new accounts.- Maintain a minimum of 50 sales calls per week including 25 personal calls, 5 property tours, and20 telephone calls.- Maintains booking activity in accordance with established goals.- Completes daily call reports, weekly activity reports and weekly call plan for review with the Director of Sales.- Documents all sales calls or client correspondence using correct forms.- Participates in weekly sales meeting on property.- Maintains account file information through Delphi sales system.- Schedules clients for on-site tours/visits.- Involved in Community Activities such as the Chamber of CommerceCompensation and Benefits:-Health and Dental Insurance-Paid Vacation-Brand Employee Benefits
