Job Description:

The position will assume the overall quality activities of the Company. Responsibilities include: customer interaction (resolving complaints and building strong relationships), generating continuous improvement, maintaining the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) including leading all system and process audits both internal and external, calibration of all equipment, creating, updating and maintaining documentation and all QMS elements and resolution of all corrective actions of an electronic manufacturer. Duties and Responsibilities:Provide internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality as soon as possible.Investigates, determines the cause, and recommends corrective action for errors occurring at any point of the company's business process.Maintains a company-wide document control system to conform to the Company's quality system.Perform in-process and final inspection and maintain records.Create and maintain proper work and quality instructions.Oversee ISO and AS9100 Certifications including ongoing audits and continuing the Company's certifications.Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards.Track and perform trend analysis on quality performance identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Prepare reports illustrating root cause analysis, risk analysis, statistical methods.Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and employees.Previous experience with ISO and AS9100 required.Understanding of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 requirements for solder quality and workmanship.Knowledge of electronic component parts, assembly techniques and processes including printed circuit board, surface mount, through-hole, and cable and harness assemblies.Able to read and interpret complex drawings, blue prints, schematics and other documentation as necessary.Able to operate basic printed circuit board inspection equipment.Knowledge and experience with Corrective and Preventive action, root-cause analysis, and internal and external audits.Must have experience developing procedures.Ability to design materials for educational and other purposes, using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Tact, diplomacy and patience, whether with inspection personnel, other departments or customers.Able to comprehend and effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal as it pertains to the job duties.Strong interpersonal skills and employee relations skills required.Ability to train.Knowledge of general office equipment, electronic and mechanical test equipment required.Bachelor's Degree required.Minimum 5-7 years related experience required preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
