Stepping Stones Museum Hosts Special Veterans Day Activities, Serves as Sponsor

[Nov. 10, 2015] Stepping Stones Museum for Children ( and local job board ( are teaming up to offer Veterans Day activities in the spirit of thanking our vets and helping local veterans find jobs in the area. The museum will feature many Veterans Day focused activities and will offer free admission to all veterans, with serving as sponsor for the day.

stones2“On Veterans Day and every day we honor and thank those who have served and are currently serving our country,” Townes added. “Veterans Day is always meaningful at the museum, as it is the day we kick off our annual ‘Cards for Soldiers’ campaign, where our young museum visitors make personal holiday cards with wishes to send to U.S. troops through the American Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program.”
