Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Case Management Operations, the Director of Case Management (RN) will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert and resource for all departments related to case management activities. Company Description Healthcare Organization Job Description The Director of Case Management Operations (RN) will: * Support the mission of the plan by enhancing the quality of case management outcomes and member satisfaction and promote continuity of care and cost effectiveness through the integration and functions of case management * Handle the day-to-day operations and human resource management of the Department of Case Management * Serve as an educator, role model, member advocate, and change agent to enhance member care and staff competency * Collaborate with other departments to evaluate and coordinate activities and programs in support of delivery of member care * Oversee daily team operations and provide strong leadership through training, coaching, teaching, and managing assigned teams Required Skills * 5+ years of Case Management experience; 3+ year of Managerial experience and leadership of a Case Management staff within a Managed Care organization or Hospital environment * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing * NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license * Knowledge of NCQA's Case Management Accreditation Standards * Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills * Great interpersonal skills * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) * Strong attention to detail * Highly organized * Able to multitask efficiently and effectively Desired Skills * Certified Case Manager (CCM)
