The Nurse will: * Conduct an individualized patient assessment * Conduct ongoing assessments as determined by the infant or child's condition * Develop plan of care that is individualized for the infant or child reflecting collaboration with other members of the healthcare team * Monitor the patient's blood pressure, breathing and heart rate The PICU Nurse should be specially trained to provide continuous, intensive care to their young patients. These are full time, contract opportunities for a minimum of 13 weeks working for a prestigious hospital. The Nurse must have prior experience in a PICU setting. Both local and travel nurses are encouraged to apply. Required Skills * Active New York State Registered Nurse license * Prior nursing experience * BLS, PALS and NRP certifications * Strong clinical skills and knowledge * Patient-oriented Desired Skills * Prior experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
