About the Opportunity A hospital in Orange County is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a promising position with their growing Operating Room staff. In this role, the Travel Operating Room Nurse (RN) will be responsible for: * Assessing and evaluating patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered and applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions * Coordinating patient care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the healthcare team * Communicating effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and members of the healthcare team about the patient's plan of care * Participating in performance improvement, nursing quality, nursing research activities and utilizing the same in clinical practice These are full-time, contract opportunities within a prestigious healthcare facility located in the Greater New York area.
