JOB DESCRIPTION and SPECIFICATIONS Job Title: Director of Marketing Reports to: President Job Role: Director of Marketing FLSA Status Salary, Exempt Work Department: Marketing Work Location: Building 26 St. Charles Level/Salary Range: TBD Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Description: Summary of Position The Director of Marketing is responsible for overseeing the marketing department, planning, developing, and implementing the marketing branding and strategy that target the existing and new markets. Job Specification: Essential Duties and Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee the marketing department including graphic design and web development * Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies * Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail * Ensure effective control of marketing results * Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions * Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities * Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management. * Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events * Write companys newsletters, advertising, articles, and other related material * Prepare and coordinate trade shows, booth design, layout * This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications and requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age + Bachelors degree in marketing, sales, or business administration; but will consider a combination of experience and education in lieu of degree + Excellent verbal, written and executive level presentation skills + Experience with writing copy materials Experience o 5+ years experience in a similar role physical requirements # Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for 8 or more hours per day; stand, kneel, walk and bend as required throughout the work day to accomplish various tasks # Be able to lift, pull, push or carry various types of light weight files (approximately 1-10 pounds) and process accordingly.
