Pratt & Whitney PP&S Program Planning & Schedule is searching for a Program Scheduler. The Master Schedule is the program's most powerful management tool and when properly maintained, the schedule can be used to influence program management decisions and actions. As a Program Scheduler, you will be:

* Managing schedule health, making sure that the schedule is vertically and horizontally linked to perform program critical path assessments.

* Providing consulting support to the Program Office on Military Engine Programs, identifying, analyzing and managing risk to program events, promoting the IMS as a healthy, integrated management tool.

* Contributing to the development of working schedules for estimating. Preparing proposal and preliminary schedules as required.

* Creating program scheduling procedures and standard work, continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity as well as communicating improvements and efficiencies in scheduling processes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated and has excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills. The candidate needs to be able to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

??? Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling programs independently (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, Open Plan).

??? Demonstrated understanding of earned-value management principles and their application to complex projects.

??? Proficiency in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

??? Experience working in Primavera

??? Familiarity with the NDIA's Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide

??? Experience on DoD compliance programs, reporting requirements, and familiarity with the DoD Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guide (EVM Sig)

??? Experience using a Monte Carlo schedule risk simulator (i.e. Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Fuse)

??? Understanding of systems/project engineering concepts and practices

??? Knowledge in the application of integrated cost/schedule techniques on programs

??? Preferred security clearance, not required.

PWRSR Education Required:

??? Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience working as a Program Scheduler and/or in an Earned Value Management position.


??? Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, computer science or business/project/construction management.

??? Formal training in Earned Value Management

??? Formal training in program scheduling
