POSITION DESCRIPTION

Performsall duties associated with machine builds including disassembly, inspection,requalification, paint, reassembly and in-house runoff testing. Implementswiring requirements per drawings/schematics. Ensures that products meetspecifications and that highest quality machines are supplied to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

* Tear down incoming machinery utilizing cranes, keeping safety in mind at all times.

* Document and photograph entire process from tear down through rebuild.

* Verify machine specifications. Measurements of completed components can range from 1/10th to 50 millionths of an inch.

* Prepare kit machine components. Accomplished by 1) studying instructions, assembly drawings and bill of materials; 2) gathering parts, subassemblies and required tools.

* Perform electrical wiring to support machine build requirements.

* Maintain safe and clean working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

* Electrical/Electronic background (experience with up to 480 volt 3 phase).

* Able to pull/ run wire on multiple conductor to single stand multi gage.

* Grinding machine, spindle, bearing and encoder drives product knowledge a plus.

* Experience using test equipment/ inspection equipment, dial indicators, micrometers.

* Able to read and understand basic electrical schematic & assembly drawings.

* Familiar with electrical wiring, terminating components, and tracing wiring looms.

* Understands electrical and electronic terminology and functions.

* Listens and takes direction well.

* Motivated to learn

* Team player attitude

* Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Education/Certifications:

* Technical/Tradeschool or military training preferred
