GFS Shipping Payments Pre-Sales Consultant

Position Overview:

We have an opportunity for a GFS Pre-Sales Consultant to work across our Global Financial Solutions business to support Global Ecommerce. You will have responsibility to provide domain and solutions assistance to the sales team for opportunities with a substantial element of Payments Solutions in the shipping and transportation financing space.

You will also be involved with other solutions across the associated PB technologies and experience working across customer analytics will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Objectives:

* Design and build proof of concepts to illustrate potential solutions in the area of Shipping and transportation financing.

* Lead, perform and coordinate all pre-sales input for GEC sales opportunities where you are nominated as the lead pre sales consultant.

* Representation of Pitney Bowes Global Financial Solutions and various industry days, seminars, partner events and user groups.

* Contribute to enterprise solution architecture discussions in order to provide solutions to GFS and Payments related business problems

* Develop functional and non-functional requirements, specifications and proposals through requirements analysis to facilitate scoping of appropriate technical solutions for customer requirements

* Sales Activity Reporting - Ensure the timely/accurate recording, tracking and reporting of all sales activities and customer/competitive information

* Pipeline Management & Forecasting -Provide an accurate forecast of personal sales results. Continuously review all opportunities in the sales pipeline and advance the stage of the sale to provide an accurate record of sales activities and monthly results that roll-up to the sales forecast.

* Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned leads.

We segment our SMB Solutions business between our North America operations, comprising the U.S. and Canadian businesses, and our International operations. We are a leading provider of postage meters and have approximately one million meters installed.
