This is a great opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and driven individual to join our team for a four month assignment starting October 1, 2017. Our Systems and Process Trainer will work within the Reed US Learning and Development team and report directly to the Director of Learning and Development. This role will be accountable for the successful delivery of systems and process-based training courses, using blended learning solutions for new starters in the business and to support training requirements driven by organizational or application changes within Reed. Day-to-day responsibilities will include the planning, designing and delivering of training courses tailored for the finance and accounting community.

Reed Exhibitions is within the initiation stages of a large IT Infrastructure Change Program. The initial role responsibility of our Systems and Process Trainer will be to join the Business Change Team to support the training work stream through to launch. This will include working closely with the program team to design and deliver role-based finance training courses on business processes that are executed on Oracle EBS, Hyperion Budget & Forecasting and Oracle OBIEE.


?? Responsible for the design, development and delivery of systems-based training programs

?? To use best practice learning methodologies to develop a training strategy that meets the needs of an evolving business and fits the culture of Reed Exhibitions

?? To work closely with Reed's Business Change Managers and Central Information Management (CIT) to ensure that training needs are met for any application change delivered to the organization

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in delivering application-based training programs
  • Excellent presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills a plus
  • Experience in performing large scale organizational Training Needs Analysis
  • Extensive experience in delivering technical training courses on financial applications such as Oracle EBS
  • Experience in transforming complex information, raw data and technical materials received from Subject Matter Experts and Business Analysts into engaging training materials and course
  • Proven track record in confidently facilitating engaging training courses, face-to-face and online to large groups of learners (30+)
  • Experience carrying out performance assessments to determine the skills gaps between current and desired learner skill levels
  • Extensive experience in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcome
  • Driven, energetic, robust and able to work independently without supervision
  • A recognized training qualification in training design and delivery
  • A working understanding of the functional teams within an organization
  • Evidence of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in project environment would be highly beneficial
  • Some travel may be required
