Provide direct clinical management of patients in the Emergency Department with an E.D. attending and other members of the health care team.

* Exceptional physical assessment skills required. 6 months experience assessment/diagnosis/treatment of health disruptions and trauma conditions. Suturing, minor surgical skills, splinting/casting, gyn exam (job or preceptorship experience). Strongly preferred: minimum 1 year experience in Emergency Medicine. Proficiency with minor surgical skills essential. Required: Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to positively interact with medical\nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Strong customer service skills with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ability to positively react to a busy, demanding, and dynamic clinical atmosphere with varying patient volumes, acuities, and medical problems.

APRN: Family Nurse Practitioner certification and master's degree required.PA-C: graduation from an accredited PA program (Elective rotation in Emergency Medicine strongly preferred), Masters degree preferred.APRN/PA CT license, current certification, Federal DEA license required.Posted by StartWire
