The Amphenol Private Networks Group consisting of the brands Procom, Skymasts and Jaybeam, designs and manufactures the strongest and most versatile portfolio of antenna equipment. Amphenol Private Networks (APN) component program includes couplers and power splitters, dummy loads & attenuators, isolators, circulators & power monitors. The US Account Executive will be a self-starter with strong communication skills that is driven to succeed and able to work independently and in a dynamic team setting.

Familiarity with two-way radio systems / wireless industries / public safety industries and laser focus on increasing growth and profitability across many potential verticals, including construction, transportation, oil/gas, public safety and manufacturing services.


This candidate will primarily spend their time actively engaged in: Prospecting - Telemarketing - New Business Development - Strengthening Customer Relations - Up selling - Presentations - Revenue Generation - Marketing Databases - Goal Setting - CRM & Performance Reporting

Sales activity & funnel management

* Cultivate strong working relationships and drive APN awareness with Key Customers and Distributors

* Create a culture of urgency & execution for tracking/communicating activity using CRM system

* Establish a working 'matrix' of PMR/LMR leads to attack

Accelerate APN distributor program

* Foster relationships new Distributors to drive AWS/APN portfolio in N. America and Public Safety

* Leverage other AWS Divisions to establish quick wins

Increase awareness of APN products and market messaging

* Recommend, attend and work minimum of 3 events; Track and follow up leads

* Deliver Sales Awareness & Training: Webinars, Presentations, White Papers and Case Studies

* Assist in response to customer RFPs to capture early business opportunities


This highly motivated, self-starter must possess a top sales track record with exceptional organization and customer service skills. Key attributes for success will include the inherent ability to be influential, confident, creative, assertive and easily adaptable.

* Bachelor's Degree

* Minimum of five years of sales experience is required. This candidate must be technology savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office and have knowledge of two-way radios and/or wireless communications for businesses.

* Ability to translate and link the visions of APN and the customer into achievable, winning strategies - consultative approach

* Experience with technical sales and working in an engineering environment

* Experience in using marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus

Travel: 50% or more as needed
