Administrative Assistant / Law firm
Our client, a boutique law firm, located in Stratford is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This is a permanent full time position with benefits.
The Administrative Assistant hired will provide a high level of confidential support for operations of the organization and to the attorneys as assigned.
•Professional interactions with clients and visitors
•Handling mail and correspondence, including independently drafting well written short, professional letters and emails to clients of an administrative nature.
•Preparing highly professional written materials for client matter and marketing purposes.
•Establishing and maintaining organizational databases for information tracking and reporting.
•Maintaining extensive and multi-level electronic and hard copy files.
•Basic internet research through use of common search engines.
•Maintaining calendars and schedules
•Planning events and meetings
•Making travel arrangements
The ideal candidate will be highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, able to initiate action and follow through with little or no supervision, possess impeccable attention to detail and phone etiquette, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interpersonal, verbal, and written communication. Candidate must possess advanced computer skills in Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and the ability to perform Internet research through use of common search engines. Some Microsoft Access skills or experience with other database systems a plus but not requires.
An Associate Degree is required; administrative certifications or BS/BA a plus.
