King Industries, Inc. has an exciting opportunity in our Maintenance Department, for a maintenance helper. In this role, you will assist the Maintenance Team improve and maintain our manufacturing buildings and equipment.  As a Maintenance helper at King Industries you will be part of the company’s maintenance department, specifically the Paint & Installation shop that has a current staff of five.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and respond to written instructions.
  • Knowledge of painting, tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Receptive to learning and committing to memory certain techniques.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Letter of recommendation from former employer.
  • Knowledge of painting, tools, supplies, and equipment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for improving and maintaining appearance of the process, tank farms, and warehouse areas.
  • Clean interior and exterior of manufacturing buildings, and enhance the appearance of process equipment, lighting, and building structures. Wipe down minor liquid residue from oilers, seal tanks, etc.
  • Assist Finishers with daily tasks as directed by the Department Forman.
  • May require small painting assignments.
  • Comply with company safety programs.
