##### **Position Summary** Position Summary and Special Duties

•Be involved in the department's safety program by attending meetings, delivering safety communications and taking appropriate safety action on your shift/crew\.

•Monitor the production floor, address staffing issues, be proactive in the area of productivity and scrap requirements, downtime and processing issues\. Provide timely reaction to processes that are not meeting dept\. goals\.

•Use ERP system \(SAP\) to monitor weekly schedule requirements, monitor inventory, order materials, report production, and get daily reports as needed\.

•Assure full compliance to all GMP processes within area of responsibility\.

•Communicate daily production priorities at the appropriate tier meeting\.\.

•Relieve on the floor as needed to provide machine coverage during all breaks\.

•Conduct group communication/training sessions to entire shift/crew, train new colleagues as needed\.

•Team Leader will be trained to all dept\. documentation and must possess the ability to mentor Lead Operators \(LG 6's\) to cultivate the pool of eligible candidates for future leadership positions\.

•Coach all colleagues as needed and provide conflict resolution by being the first layer of this process\. Document and provide to supervision as needed\.

•Monitor, correct, and ensure all housekeeping requirements are met and followed daily\. Administrative requirements include completing daily attendance log sheets, and providing O/T coverage needs per the area coverage sheet\.

•Provide leadership to shift/crew members that need resources for appropriate machines\.

•Monitor all PDN's in the dept\. to ensure they are all active and prior to end date; condition is either corrected to PDN or target date is extended\.

##### **Required Skills and Experience** High School Diploma or GED\.
