Responsible for obtaining all pertinent nutritional care information of the patient in order to provide food and nutrition care services to patients. Takes patient menu orders and corrects diets as appropriate; tray assembly and delivery; preparing food items for patients, collecting patient trays and strips food trucks. HS diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend in English required. Minimum of 6 months experiences as a non-registered diet tech or diet clerk in a health care facility preferred. Minimum of one year diet aide experience preferred.
