JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary Description: Summary Description:Responsible for developing marketing strategies and directing the tactical execution of those strategies for the Corbin Russwin, Markar, McKinney, Norton, Pemko, Rixson, Rockwood, SARGENT, and Yale Commercial brands to meet organizational objectives. Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needs. Oversees all marketing, advertising, and promotional staff and activities. Collaborates with an intercompany, cross-functional team to promote these market leading brand names and to provide clear and concise messaging regarding new product developments, programs and product line enhancements Duties and Responsibilities: Develop annual marketing plans in conjunction with Brand Management and Door Security Solutions sales management focused on meeting organizational objectives. Assist Brand Managers with identifying market requirements for new and current products by conducting market research as required. Direct the production of material content for catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, technical marketing documents, web site, trade show displays, media advertising and other related materials as appropriate. Responsible for thorough understanding of product features and benefits, positioning and go to market strategy through close coordination with the various Product Development teams and Brand Management. Manage trade show participation, including product focus, promotional programs around the show, logistics and collateral Develop & direct the execution of new product Marketing Plans as part of the ASSA ABLOY Product Innovation Gateway process Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage for the brands across a broad spectrum of media including, but not limited to, print and online trade publications and social media where appropriate. Direct activities with vendors, advertising, and PR agencies in accordance with Brand strategies. Includes providing interviews with the press, demonstrating product to key audiences, building overall brand initiatives. Manage the Marketing Department budget. Delivery of all marketing activity within budgetary guidelines. Proactively demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in the consistency and accuracy of marketing processes and documents. Perform other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS Educational Requirements, Skills and Abilities: BS degree in Marketing preferred Minimum of 7 years marketing and communications experience Excellent project management and analytical skills Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and influence at all levels of an organization Strong presentation skills Ability to motivate and lead a team toward company goals and objectives Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Proficiency in web applications, Microsoft Access & Microsoft Project is a plus. Proficiency in Quark, inDesign and various other similar software packages is a plus. Technical aptitude and familiarity with architectural hardware, access control or security industry is a plus.
