THE POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE MANCHESTER/VERNON CT AREA



We are currently seeking a Region Supervisor for our New England Region.



The Region Supervisor will manage route territories while simultaneously achieving profitable new sales growth within the area. The Region Supervisor will report to the Region Manager and have the following direct reports, when applicable: Route Sales Representative(s); Route Tech Support staff and Warehouse Associate(s).



Primary Job Responsibilities:




* Manage Route Sales Representatives through establishing daily activities, coaching, and disciplining.
* Train Route Sales Representatives on efficient route operations.
* Establish overall productivity measures to keep track of each Route Sales Representatives' progress.
* Responsible for continuous relationship-building with all customers; to include follow up with lost accounts.
* Expected to meet operational goals.
* Ensures that all appropriate equipment, paperwork and DOT required documentation is in route vehicles at all times; proper vehicle maintenance is performed; and that each vehicle is kept clean.
* Responsible for learning how to complete region reports, understand budgeting, P&L, and other regional operations.
* Other duties as assigned by management.






* Previous experience in distribution and/or food service.
* Familiarity with P&L Statements.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Self-directed individual.
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
* Experience in coffee industry preferred.
* Customer service oriented.
* Collection experience helpful.
* Product and equipment knowledge.
* Mechanically inclined.
* Previous route experience desired.
* Two (2) years previous supervisory experience preferred.
* Excellent analytical and business decision making skills.
* Good driving record.
