Job Description:

With over 40 years of legal experience, McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, P.C. has an immediate opening for a full time a Human Resources Associate to support our New York offices. This position will be located onsite in our New Rochelle, NY office. MWC is a fast- paced, multi-office law firm representing mortgage lenders, banks and financial institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC and Virginia. The Human Resources Associate will serve as a consultant to Management and the Office Managing Attorney regarding Human Resource related matters. The HR Associate will act as employee champion and change agent by assessing and anticipating HR-related needs such as recruitment and training. The HR Associate will be responsible for the full employee life cycle by developing partnerships across the office to ensure that all management and employees reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HR Associate will report directly to the Human Resources Director and office Managing Attorney. Responsibilities: Consult with all levels of management providing HR guidance when appropriate; Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Department to develop solutions, programs and policies; Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees such has overtime and FLSA to reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; Works closely to coach both management and employees on how improve departmental training, maintain a positive work environment, increase productivity and retention; Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation in concert with the Director of Human Resources such has time and attendance and corrective actions; Responsible to manage the recruiting and on-boarding of employees; Participate in implementing and monitoring of success of firm and department training programs. Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results. Manage multiple conflicting priorities. Ability to understand issues and communicate effectively with management. Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field. Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources experience required with recruitment, on-boarding, training and Employee Relations experiences is preferred. This is a full-time position, with immediately availability. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
