To strengthen our Carl Zeiss SBE, LLC. Team we are seeking a



* Create a local marketing plan that complements the strategic plan established centrally in Germany.

* Manage strategic projects to develop new selling, marketing and product management skills.

* Maintain literature supplies and distribute to dealers, sales representatives and end-users as needed. Provide literature demand figures to CZO and reorder as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.

* Expand presence in the geographic markets we serve directly, namely US, Mexico and South America.

* Negotiation of media rates with the print and web publishers.

* Overseeing the creation of local advertising creative which complements the guidelines established centrally in Germany.

* Maintain and expand our relationship with the industry press representatives.

* Review websites of authorized dealers and provide recommendations to ensure Zeiss products are represented accurately and effectively.

* Maintain links to image database in for use by dealers and press.

* Answer customer questions by phone or email regarding product specs, characteristics.

* Provide regular oversight of the web user forums and report any significant information to Product Management in Germany.

* Develop sales training materials for the Independent Sales reps and the employees of our dealers.


* Bachelors degree in Business, specializing in marketing. 5 years of experience in related field is required.

* Product and/or marketing management experience, preferably in the area of still photography or cinematography, is strongly preferred.

* Working knowledge of professional digital still cameras, cine cameras, video cameras and the photography industry in general.

* Proficient in the use of a Windows based computer and all of the Microsoft Office products (especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and creative software programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and In Design.

* Ability to organize multiple tasks in different application fields and excellent written & verbal communication skills.

* 15% to 20% travel in support of trade shows, dealer events and product training seminars is required.
