The Executive Director of the Office of Institutional Research, Evaluation & Data Analytics oversees the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) and provides leadership in the functions and systems necessary to support data needs at Mercy College. This is a strongly collaborative position and a proven ability to work with senior executives and other decision makers is required. The Executive Director will be responsible for effectively working with analysts institution-wide to meet the reporting and analytical needs of senior leadership. The Executive Director is expected to perform other duties as assigned.

This position is in charge of developing advanced analytical and business intelligence capabilities to support college's
expanding need for data driven, strategic and operational decision-making; advancing efforts to expand the use of information in academic and administrative planning,
program development and strategic decision-making; analyzing, distributing and presenting information for use in planning, decision-making, internal and external reporting and policy formulation at the College; overseeing design and conduct of research studies in areas related to the College's strategic objectives and student learning outcomes; and undertaking significant statistical modeling, data mining and analytics activities to identify, build, enhance, and utilize enterprise information.

This position will also be responsible for advancing the College's data management and governance structure and culture (e.g., establish standards, policies, procedures, compliance and prioritization); along with the Chief Information Officer, identify tools, technologies, and services to further enhance the analytics capabilities of the college (and its individual offices and divisions) and
drive the integration of these tools/systems; and maintaining fluency with trends in higher education regarding collection, analysis, and reporting practices to keep the College current with evolving national practices.

S/he will provide strategic direction and oversight for the Office of Institutional Research and will need to develop and advance a strong partnership among deans, directors and other stakeholders. bebd9fcdf02d16a8245e
