The UTC Aerospace Systems business seeks a professional Contracts Customer Support Representative for the Cheshire, CT location.

The selected candidate must be able to work directly with customers in high-pressure situations, possess organization/time management skills, and strong communication. This person must thrive in a team environment and possess the willingness to put in the effort needed to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. The candidate will interact with various cross-functional teams including but not limited to Contracts, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Program Office, Operations and Engineering.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Oversee assigned customer accounts from RFQ receipt to delivery of goods. Identify and communicate customer requirements to affected functions within the organization and execute to customer satisfaction.

* Prepare quotations including price and delivery.

* Responsible for assuring customer requirements are being met by diligent purchase order review and flow down.

* Support demand management process by loading purchase order demand and forecasting requirements accurately in the SAP system. Coordinate with Demand Planning on new requirements and changes to ensure demand is correct and complete.

* Proactively research and resolve issues, questions, or problems that arise by communicating with customers and internal personnel. Champion customer needs while ensuring organizational goals are met.

* Manage customer returns through the proper return channel in SAP Work closely with Operations for status updates, customer unique requirements, and delivery of product to customer expectations.

* Assist Financial Shared Services in resolving accounts receivables issues.

* Follow departmental procedures, company policies, export/import requirements with a high degree of fidelity and accuracy.

* Participate in and contribute to the improvement of the Contracts department processes and procedures by engaging in activities utilizing ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) operating system tools.

* Perform various reporting activities and other duties/projects as required.


* 3-5 years related experience.

* Background in Aerospace or manufacturing environment preferred.

* Knowledge and understanding of government contracting. FAR and DFAR experience preferred.

* Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.

* Proven problem solving skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. SAP experience preferred.

* Ability to work independently and in team environments.

* Ability to adapt in a fast pace environment. Handle multiple tasks, prioritize competing requirements, meet deadlines, etc.


* AA/AS degree w/5-10+ years experience

* BA/BS degree w/2-5+ years experience

* MA/MS degree w/0-2+ years experience
