TITLE & FOCUS: Senior Coordinator of Research, Assessment, and Analytics


The Senior Coordinator will assist the Supervisor in the leadership, development, implementation and maintenance of school performance analytics.


Responsibilities will include:

* Coordinate and manage the development, implementation, and ongoing production of school performance analytics

* Coordinate school and staff training and development in the appropriate use of school performance metrics and information-based decision making, collaborating with the Directors of Instruction to improve data-based decision making in schools and in instruction;

* Participate in and lead various cross-functional district teams, providing analytical, communication, and project management expertise to priority district projects;

* Support the Department and the District in project-based and on-going work of the department, as needed;

* Assist the Supervisor with providing appropriate ongoing communication with the Superintendent, the Board of Education, member of Central Office, building principals, teachers, and the community at large regarding the activities of the Department. Lead and participate in various stakeholder teams and community meetings, as needed;

* Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Supervisor.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Master's Degree preferred. They should also be able to provide evidence of at least two years of successful experience that demonstrates:

* Strong analytical skills

* Database design, development, and data processing skills

* Technical experience with SQL Server, Tableau, MS Office, and Google Apps for Education preferred

* Experience and/or training in teaching, education leadership, and student information analysis

* Project management involving internal and external stakeholders

* Demonstrated ability to get along with a diverse group of co-workers and other stakeholders

* Proficiency in oral and written communication

REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Research, Assessment and Analytics

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Established by the Board of Education

SALARY GROUP: Commensurate with Qualifications, Executive Management (12 months)

EVALUATION: Performance evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education's policy on evaluation of administrative/supervisory personnel.
