Provide human resources functional leadership with emphasis on aligning human resources initiatives with business strategies & objectives and promoting a high performance environment. Activities include the development and execution of programs and initiatives in the areas of recruiting, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, leadership & employee development, performance management, and employee relations.

* Work in partnership with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support business goals and drive results.

* Responsible for effective execution of all Human Resources processes, including the Leadership Development Review, Performance Management, salary planning, etc.

* Ensure proper staffing level, infuse talent into the organization and improve bench strength.

* Counsel employees on performance, career planning, work/life balance and other topics.

* Objectively assess and bring to resolution employee relations issues.

* Consult with clients to understand training and development needs, and advise accordingly.

* Advise managers on compensation-related decisions to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.

* Counsel managers through challenging performance management situations. Support managers in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement.

* Assist and coach managers regarding employee relations, interviewing and selection, performance management and employee development.

* Provide strategic counsel regarding employee engagement trends/data to employee engagement survey teams and organizational leaders.

* Supervise, develop, and coach other human resources representatives in the organization. Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree is required in Human Resources or related field.

Selected candidate needs to have 5-10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in HR in the following areas:

Employee relations, labor relations, staffing recruiting, training and development, or compensation planning.

* Demonstrated experience working with Senior Executives, influencing HR practices effectively across all levels of the organization.

* Ability to communicate with all levels of management.

* Ability and demonstrated skills leading change through organization in HR roles.

* Experience in managing conflict and diffusing difficult situations.

* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills.

* Proven customer focused experience and excellent business judgment.

* Strong analytical, systems, and critical thinking skills.

* Must work well under pressure and have the flexibility to manage multiple demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

* A MA/MS/MBA in Human Resources or related field is preferred

A minimum of 5 years of experience and responsibility in the following areas:

* Project Management skills / experience; highly organized with strong attention to detail.

* Teamwork and ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic work environment.

* Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential material and possess good business judgment.

Education Bachelor's degree required, Human Resources or related field preferred; MA/MS/MBA in Human Resources or related field preferred
