United Technologies Corporate Headquarters is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support key functional areas in the Corporate office. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner that will provide HR client support and will interface extensively with executives, employees, and UTC Business Unit representatives.

* Develop strong working relationships with functional leaders, employees, and the HR team by providing effective and timely human resources services.

* Utilize standard processes and best practices to align human resource initiatives with business objectives.

* Effectively manage and execute on multiple HR processes, including: talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and compensation planning.

* Actively support recruiting and sourcing strategies for multiple functions, and manage requisitions using the BrassRing system.

* Provide support for all aspects of the onboarding and off-boarding processes.

* Objectively assess and bring employee relations issues to resolution. Demonstrate the ability to counsel employees on HR processes and procedures, performance management and career planning.

* Leverage ACE tools and methodology to align with business needs.

* Lead and support special projects as assigned.


* Minimum 6 to 10 years of progressively responsible HR Generalist roles or a combination of generalist and specialist experience

* Prior experience working with executives strongly desired

* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to cultivate strong working relationships

* Strong business judgment skills and ability to deal with ambiguity

* Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

* High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information is essential

* Results oriented with a keen focus on success and achievement

* Strong process orientation and ability to develop and follow standard work; attention to detail

* Able to prioritize workload and adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and customer requirements

Education Minimum 6 to 10 years of progressively responsible HR Generalist roles or a combination of generalist and specialist experience. Bachelor's degree required.
