**Entry Level Sales - Sales Academy**

**Description**

The Reed Exhibitions (RX) ENTRY LEVEL SALES ACADEMY

Learn Event Sales from Reed Exhibitions, the Global Leader in the events industry!

The RX Sales Academy is custom-built to identify, train, and develop future sales talent for our organization through a unique, six-month training program.

You will begin your journey with RX in our Sales Academy and immediately gain exposure and hard training on foundational sales strategy and techniques characteristic of successful selling. As an entry level sales exec you will be provided with guidance and pointers around the key selling skills necessary to become a top-performing sales professional in our organization.

This progressive and supportive program will provide entry level sales execs not only with key sales tactics, but with experience and exposure across all aspects of the RX business and the eclectic array of industries in which we operate - in effect affording the Trainee the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up and to play an active, hands-on role in our success. Each Academy class will be comprised of eight to ten recruits who will advance through the sales training with the ultimate goal of landing a dedicated sales role on an event team.

The Entry Level Sales role is full-time and benefits-eligible.

Responsibilities:

+ Participate in on-the-job training, classroom instruction, self-study and prospecting activities

+ Identify prospective customers using established lead nurturing methods

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with event teams and customers

+ Achieve sales goals including quotes, new sales and renewals that meet company guidelines

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree or military experience

+ 0-1 years' experience in sales or client service environment preferred

+ Highly effective communication skills - oral, written and group

+ Demonstrative persuasion and negotiation skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers

+ Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment

+ Strong team orientation
