Job Description:


+ Contract data entry and filing; assist in file room maintenance and record retention.

+ Assist Regulatory and Employment Law groups with contract drafting, review and entry of contracts into contract database. Assist with maintenance of state licenses for company sites. Work with attorneys on various projects as they arise.

+ The position is team-oriented, but the candidate must also have the ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision and willing to be supervised on day to day issues by another administrative assistant. In addition the candidate should be a self starter and able to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands simultaneously and under tight time constraints.

+ Drafts a variety of contracts under direction of legal department attorneys, usually from provided templates.

+ Reviews proposals and other pertinent information received from business partners to determine which templates and legal terms are appropriate to use based on the category, phase and complexity of the request.

+ Assists in the maintenance of the Company's contract management system.

+ Maintains contract management procedures and workflow processes while incorporating best practices and proactively implementing solutions for process improvements.

+ Collaborates with internal business clients and attorneys on contract requirements.

+ Interacts with various levels of management and with a variety of functional areas within the company.

+ Assists in filing, maintaining and renewing state and federal licenses for company sites.

+ Assists with employment matters. Reports to one or more attorneys and will be based at company's headquarters in Stamford, CT.

+ Conducts and/or supports data entry for new and existing agreements, including scanning of originally executed agreements.



+ Basic understanding of contract and legal terminology. Attention to detail, good judgment, and solid organization skills.

+ Knowledge of or familiarity with laws and regulations involving interactions between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients is desirable, but not required.


+ Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

+ Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and computer skills as well as a strong work ethic.

+ Ability to comfortably manage and prioritize multiple tasks under strict timelines.

+ Proficiency in MS Office desired.

+ Effective written and oral communications skills.
