**Job Description**

The SAS Stress Test Modeler and Analyst develops analytical models to accurately analyze the retail portfolio, manage the retail allowance analytical process, and ensure an adequate loan loss reserve for the Company. .

**Job Requirements**

• Prepares analytical documents and technical papers to effectively validate the TD Bank NA's Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) credit risk models.

• Works closely with TDBG Model Validation Management team to support the validation processes

• Supports submission to Model Validation and Management team, Federal Reserve and the OCC.

• Experience in preparing comprehensive CCAR documentation, in accordance with applicable Dodd-Frank standards such as methodology descriptions including the technical details of the related underlying statistical methods.

• Develops statistical analytical models to analyze the portfolio, including quantitative analysis, probability analysis, regression analysis, migration analysis, etc.

• Manages and leads a team by scheduling and assigning work, establishing unit goals and objectives, and providing training.

• Represents the department at higher level stakeholder/management meetings. Participates in Portfolio Strategy and Asset Quality Meetings to provide insight on statistics and address Committee's requests for additional information.

• Completes performance reviews; makes employment decisions; coaches, counsels and develops staff.

• Communicates issues to the business line and Risk and makes recommendations as appropriate.

• Develops productive working relationships with others in Risk Management, Finance, Business Line, TDBFG Risk, and external groups.

• Provides accurate reports or identifying issues that could impact decisions.

• Provides detailed trend information. Identifies/highlights areas of deterioration to determine root cause, direction of trends, and additional attention required.

• Works with management and Committees to help direct future lending activities to mitigate future loan losses.

• Supports policy / practice in the areas of measuring/quantifying risk exposure.

• Identifies current or future issues with data integrity, is a stakeholder and participant in overall Data Governance for retail loan data.


SAS experience required

Bachelor's degree required; Graduate degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below preferred

1-3 Years of related experience required

Strong mathematical and statistical skills to determine sound, defensible approaches to requested forecasts and analyses

Strong analytical, technical and writing skills. Ability to develop and execute complex models and analyses in support of business goals and objectives

Retail Banking knowledge and experience is required

Excellent PC skills

Demonstrated management/leadership skills

Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills with ability to effectively communicate with senior management

Ability to assimilate complex business information in order to structure relationships in processes and data

Ability to communicate technical information to inform others in practical business-based terms
