The Licensing Manager would serve as the liaison between the licensors (brands to be assigned) and our internal teams. The ideal candidate will be a highly-organized, motivated, reliable, results oriented individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. Essential Functions: Establish relationships with licensors to ensure day to day needs (product, sales, financial, and distribution) are being met Facilitate communication between internal teams and licensors Compile information for special projects as requested Assist with licensor contract compliance Manage account approvals and weekly selling reports Analyze all financial submissions to Licensors Assist with contract negotiations, deal terms and create term sheets Prepare the deliverables for contract terminations, renegotiations, extensions or renewals Assist in working with sales and merchandising teams to develop business plans Assist in seeking cost saving solutions across all brands Assist in the planning and preparation of brand meetings with licensors Research new brands, product categories and industries Assist with trademark and patent searches Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in related area Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years in licensing and/or brand management Skills Required: Strong verbal and analytical skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines concurrently Ability to work under pressure Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and assist that team to achieve its deadlines including in relation to licensing enforcement Proficient in Microsoft Office Superior knowledge & use of Excel - required (assessment test may be required) Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
